COMPANY'S BACKGROUND

    Biprohut was established in 1945. As a State Enterprise Company Biprohut performed engineering services mainly for iron and steel industry. Scope of services offered kept expanding. Commencing their activities from reconstruction of metallurgical equipment in steelworks after the second World War the company gradually moved on toward designing modern process plants and equipment including installation as well as complex new departments and steelworks for domestic and foreign customers. In the seventies Biprohut was entrusted with the role of General Designer for Huta Katowice Steelworks which keeps performing until now. Apart from the above activities the company provided engineering services for industrial and public utility construction projects.
